Listened to One Audiobook!

I haven’t done a lot this week about reading, it isn’t like I haven’t had the time to, in fact I have been trying to find more time to read but instead I have found more time that I am watching TV, and I am doomscrolling on my phone to the point where I could be reading.
When I have the time to read and I am sitting and cozy to do so, I find an excuse not to because, well, apparently, doom scrolling is way easier.
I have to remind myself that no one cares whether or not I watch their content, I mean they would like me to as it boosts them up, but it isn’t necessary to do that.
I guess it is one of those marketing things, that I could be living my life doing anything that I want to be doing and I have free will to go and do things but instead of going out and doing something I am stuck at home on the couch going through my phone or watching TV when I should be doing literally anything else but being on my phone.
I listened to one audiobook this week and barely read anything, which isn’t good for me or my book online presence, but that is what happened.
This week I listened to The Thin Line Hope vs. Reality in the Era of Weight-Loss Drugs by Scaachi Koul and this is what I thought about it:
I thought that this book was really well done and produced. It is a 9-part podcast that talks about GOP-1 drugs like Ozempic and what weight loss drugs can do for you.I think that it was interesting how it was done and Scaachi's journey on her health journey. One of the ideas is that if you start a diet or one of these drugs, then you are doing it for the rest of your life, which is very unique and it makes me think that maybe the new cigarette is a weight loss drug.
It was a good book, but it is something that I am happy that I listened to versus actually reading, if it was something to read, I am not too sure about that.
This week I am going to try and read some more so I guess, happy reading everyone and I will see you next week!
