A 2 Book Week

This week has been great because I have read a book, listened to an audiobook and I have received some book mail.

I didn’t get much reading done towards the end of the week, which is fine but that is something that I do need to change going forward.  I do need to make sure that I am getting a bunch of new and great content going forward for everyone to watch!

This week I read….

  1. Deep End by Ali Hazelwood

  2. Hack Your Body, Heal Your Mind by Kimberly Wilson

And this is what I thought about them.

Deep End by Ali Hazelwood

I thought that the book was super cute and focused more on the athletics side of the romance in this book. The story is about Lukas who is studding to be a doctor and Scarlet is also in science, wanted to do research in biology and wants to be a doctor as well.Scarlett is a diver and synchronized swimmer. Scarlett's main event is the platform dive and is able to compete in the NCAA (which she does win). After sustaining a concussion after a dive she is worried that she wont be able to compete in the NCAA but she is at the top of her sport so she knows that she can. It was great to learn more about college level sports and what all it takes to compete. On the romance side of things Lukas is into BDSM and shows Scarlet everything what that kink has to offer.

Hack Your Body, Heal Your Mind by Kimberly Wilson

I think this book was a great way to think of things that help you in general, especially if you want to lose weight. I think it is worth the listen. There are 8 chapters or podcasts that help you rethink things like eating the rainbow, breath work as well as taking cold showers. There are a lot of great things to do to help your body with the everyday 'stresses' that do occur. I think it can also help with anxiety and some depression as well.

It has been somewhat lacking this week with the amount of reading that I have done, but I did upcycle a craft that I have, so that does make me feel better about myself in a way.

I am looking forward to another productive week and hope to have a full week of reading another book and a productive work week at the library.

I am grateful that I didn’t purchase any books from the bookstore this week either as I don’t need any more but if I did I have a library app which I can keep track of all of the books that I have I find to the best thing that I ever took time to do.  I mean now that it is all over and in the app, the hard part is over and the easiest thing I must do is to maintain it which I think is doable seeing as though I don’t plan on purchasing any more books.
