Thoughts on It Was Me All Along A Memoir by Andie Mitchell

I thought that it was really well done, you follow Andie from a young age being labelled as the fat kid in elementary school to her semester abroad in Italy when she was in college where she was on her journey to lose 135 lbs.Andie really did lose all of her weight and it is amazing, I appreciated the end where it gave remaining struggles and things that she misses as being the fat girl like having the 4th or 5th slice of pizza but knowing that it was a 20 year struggle to be where she is now is worth it. She knows that she can still have pizza just not 4 or 5 slices!

Thoughts On Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

This book rings true today dispite been written in 1956.It is a brave new world for those born in a cit where everything is done for them, a world ruled by science to go to the outskirts of the city to see how others live, those people whom were born more naturally versus like them out of a test tube.It is a brave new world for those living outside the city limits to go inside the city to see how strange it is where everything is automated and you don't need to do anything for yourself. It is a different aspect of life that is lived and one that John as to get used to as well as then coming back out beyond the city limits.

Overall all it has been a pretty great week with reading and getting some new books but ultimately it is a good feeling!

I do plan on reading and getting into audiobooks more but we will have to wait and see how the week goes!

Happy reading!
